Policy

What is your late/cancellation policy?

We appreciate your business. So that we can best serve all our clients, please be advised of these policies.

ARRIVAL TIME

Please aim to arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. If you arrive after your scheduled appointment time, it may not be possible to extend the time available for your booked service. If your service is shortened due to your late arrival, you will still be charged the full cost of the service.

Please note that if you are over 15 minutes late for your appointment we may have to reschedule your service if it cannot be completed in the remaining time frame. Extra time will not be added to your service if you are late.

If I do not hear from you 15 or more minutes into your scheduled appointment time it is considered a “no-show,” and your card will be charged for 100% of the service scheduled. This ensures that any upcoming appointments are properly taken care of, and that there is ample amount of time to clean and sanitize the treatment room.

CHANGING YOUR APPOINTMENT

48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel a booked appointment, except in cases of contagious illness as described below.

If rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice, there will be a 50% charge on your card as a service fee. Appointments may only be rescheduled twice. Reschedules must be made for current availability (within 6 weeks) or your deposit will be forfeited.

SICKNESS OR FAMILY EMERGENCY

If you, or another person in your household, has an infectious or contagious illness, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment for a later date. There is no penalty or timeframe required in this case, for your safety and that of other clients.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is RED LIGHT therapy?

Red light therapy is the use of light emitted diodes (LEDs) in a specific wavelength (perceived as red) to therapeutically treat concerns. Clinically, red light has been shown to accelerate wound healing, rejuvenate the skin, treat acne and atopic dermatitis, and in some cases, cancer, atherosclerosis, and be anti-viral. From a dermatological standpoint, red light has been shown to stimulate collagen production, reduce inflammation, and promote healing among skin tissues. Red light therapy is a completely painless modality and tolerated extremely well making it the perfect treatment room addition.

What products do you retail?

I currently carry Face Reality, Corthe, Dermathod, KrXAesthetics, Glymed+, Hydrinity, and skinbetter science® in studio.

I am partnered with PompBeauty.com, an online retailer that allows me the ability to offer my clients access to hundreds of professional skincare brands and have them delivered directly to their door.

I don’t live in Portland, OR - Can I still book appointments with you virtually?

If you are wanting to see me but don’t live locally, the answer is…Yes! We can create a virtual check-in schedule and you will receive a fully customized skincare regimen to help you achieve your desired results without having to come in-person for treatments.

Where do I park & how do I find you?

Please park in front of the concrete wall below the house. The A-frame sign will direct you to the side gate which leads to the studio.

Please text me and wait in your car until I come grab you as I do not have a waiting area. Thank you!

Why should I schedule a monthly facial?

For those that fall below the age of 50, your skin cells turn over every 28-42 days. This process can be upwards of every 84 days for those over the age of 50. Monthly facials are important to ensure constant, steady rate of cell turnover to keep your skin luminous and smooth. If you’ve ever noticed your makeup look patchy, you have dry spots, clogged pores, and papery skin, you most likely need some type of exfoliation! There are many ways to exfoliate, and in the treatment room we’ll use different types of acids, retinols, and enzymes to ensure your skin is always bearing the healthiest version of itself.
